TORN.EXCHANGE

How To Trade

A step-by-step guide for using the exchange as a regular player: logging in, buying, selling standard items, listing equipped gear, withdrawing credits, and understanding contracts.

Before You Start

Your Torn API key is used to confirm your Torn identity. Your exchange account follows your Torn player ID, so if you rotate to another valid API key from the same Torn account, you still log into the same TORN.EXCHANGE account.

CreditsCredits are the platform balance used for purchases, sales, withdrawals, and contract settlement.
ConversionThe app shows Torn cash equivalents so you can compare credit values against in-game money.
RulesOnly list items you can deliver. Fake listings, mugging abuse, or refusing to fulfill trades can get you banned.

Logging In

Open the exchange.Go to the main app page and keep the connection setting on the normal local or hosted exchange URL.
Paste your Torn API key.The key is checked against Torn to find your Torn player ID and name.
Accept the rules if prompted.First login may ask you to accept marketplace rules before trading tools unlock.
Use the Workspace tabs. Most user actions live under Market, Inventory, Transactions, Arms Market, Withdrawals, Contracts, Agent Desk, and Account.

Buying From The Market

Open Market.Search for the item you want from the category tabs or the market search bar.
Select an item.Listings for that item appear in the item view on the Market tab.
Choose quantity.Enter the amount you want from an active listing and reserve the buy.
Wait for fulfillment.Your credits are reserved while the seller sends the item in Torn.
Track it in Transactions. The Transactions tab shows active buys, pending verification, cancellations, and completed orders.
If the seller does not fulfill in time, your buyer cancellation or automatic expiry path protects your reserved credits.

Selling Standard Items

Open Inventory.Use Refresh Inventory to pull your normal item categories into the desk.
Find the item card.Standard-market items appear in their category tabs with available quantity and the current lowest listing when one exists.
Enter quantity and price on the card. Each standard item card has inline quantity and ask-price inputs.
Create the listing.Click the card sell button. The exchange does a live inventory check before the listing is accepted.
Fulfill reserved orders. When someone reserves your listing, send the item in Torn inside the seller window.
Trigger the check. After you send it, open Transactions and click I Sent The Item so the exchange checks your send event right away.
Get paid after verification.Once the send verifies, credits are paid to you after the market fee.
Do not list items you do not have. Fake listings are a ban-level violation.

Selling Equipped Gear

Open Inventory and go to Sell Equipment.Use Refresh Equipped to sync only the weapons and armor you currently have equipped in Torn.
Review the equipped-item card. Each card shows the UID, stats, enhancements, and current lowest listing if one exists.
Set the ask price on the card.Equipped-item cards list directly from the card instead of the normal quantity flow.
Keep the exact item equipped. The exchange checks Torn equipment again at listing time. If the requested UID is not equipped, the listing is rejected.
Fulfill through Arms Market.Buyers reserve the UID-backed listing in Arms Market, and equipped-gear fulfillment remains a manual delivery path after reservation.
Trigger the UID check. After you send the equipped item, open Transactions and click I Sent The UID to check that transfer now.
If you swap gear in Torn, use Refresh Equipped again so the Sell Equipment tab matches your live equipped loadout.

Withdrawing Credits

Open Withdrawals.Enter how many credits you want to withdraw.
Choose preferences. You can mark agentless preferred or online-only if that matters for the payout.
Create the withdrawal. The request becomes a debt line that can be fulfilled directly or bundled into a contract.
Watch active withdrawals.Your active and archived withdrawal requests stay separated in the Withdrawals tab.

Contracts And Agents

Apply for agency.Use Account if you want to become an agent. Admins manually audit and approve agent tiers.
Claim from Contract Bulletin.Approved agents can claim open contracts that fit their tier capacity.
Pay recipients in Torn. The Agent Desk shows payout lines and instructions for each claimed contract.
Trigger send checks from Agent Desk. After you send payouts, click I Sent The Money to check the current send events. Use Prefill Verify only when you need a manual event-ID match.
Finalize after verification.Verified sends allow full or partial finalization depending on timing and completion.
Agents must not mug recipients. Contract-linked mugging can disbar the agent and flag the contract.
