Torn API keys are encrypted at rest on this site and used to identify your Torn account, load the tools tied to your player ID, and verify fulfillment through Torn events when a trade needs proof. Raw keys are not shown back through the UI after login, and the site only displays masked key references. Torn IDs are public on the platform; API keys are not.

Limited-or-better key with /user/events access: trade access for buying, selling, deposits, withdrawals, contracts, and verification tools.
Key without /user/events access: view-only access. You can browse the exchange, but trade actions stay locked until you log in with a limited-or-better key that can read Torn events.

You can also enable the optional 4-digit login PIN after sign-in to add a second step on top of your API key.

Trading Rules Agreement

First login requires accepting the marketplace rules for this account.

TORN.EXCHANGE is only useful if listings are honest and trade obligations are actually completed. By continuing, you agree that breaking the rules below can lead to account bans, listing removal, cancelled orders, and loss of platform access.
No fake listings. Do not list items you do not currently own or control.
No mugging or theft abuse. Using contracts or trades to steal, mug, or intentionally cause losses can trigger removal and reimbursement actions where applicable.
Fulfill accepted trades. If you sell something here, you are expected to send it in Torn within the required window.
No platform manipulation. Do not use duplicate listings, bad-faith cancellations, or other dishonest behavior to game marketplace outcomes.
